Something different for Christmas – Review

Something different for Christmas – Review

I have two beautiful Grandsons, aged nearly 12 and 8. My dilemma. Other than giving them money what could I get them as something different for Christmas. Here is a review of a few items I have found to maybe fill this gap. These gifts would also be good for other family members and friends too.

Dr Who Tardis Desk Tidy

Both my Grandsons love Science and Space Travel. The younger one is well into Space and Aliens. He also love his desk in his bedroom so this is an ideal gift for him

This holder is an official wooden replica of the Tardis, the Time Lord’s iconic blue police box so you will be able to transport your pens and pencils into another dimension. Constructed to the same exacting standards that The Doctor would expect, the wooden tidy is durable and detailed, with a hinged door and roof. Love Dr Who then this is the ideal gift for Christmas, offering a fantastical way to store your pens and sonic screwdrivers. It might even be bigger on the inside too, but that would be telling!

Definitely Something Different and away from the norm.

Extremely detailled on the outside of the Tardis

Spacious on the inside. A Must Have for Dr Who fans.

Dot Art Sticker Book

Nowadays, Mental Health and Well Being are a daily talked about subject. It is widely known that hobbies such as crafts and art, are ideal to destress and relax. Sticker Art isone of these hobbies. How about this for Something Different.

An example of one of the designs you can pick from.

Published by Prestel Publishing and in association with The National Gallery, the Dot Art Sticker Books allow adults and children to create works of art in stickers

Opening with a brief informative desciption of the design, the books contain thousands of coloured round stickers and a poster “canvas” of coloured outlines.

The canvas with the coloured circle of the required sticker.
Pages of stickers are included.

Readers simply need to match the stickers to the outlines found on the poster to recreate the painting. The finished poster will be its own original work of art. With a handy folder – style flap that allows for easy storage and transportation of the artwork in progress, this activity book is perfect for hours of entertainment, relaxation or meditation, as well as for unwinding at the end of a busy day. Another Something Differentgift to purchase and a fullsized creation at the end.

The Amazing Mystery Box

I love surprises at Christmas and thought this would be a great idea. However for this review I opened the box up to show you what I received.

The first mystery I had was to work out how to get into the box LOL!
The contents in my box. Theme -Marvel Comics
My Box contained Marvel Stationery, DeadPool Saltanf Pepper Shakers. Spiderman Collectabl Cards, Captain America Shield and a Mashem Character
It also contained asuper suzed mug and a Marvel Character to create.

I was really impressed with the contents with this theme. There are several themes to choose from including Dr Who, Disney Princesses, Thomas and Friends, and contain things suitable for children and adults , dependent on theme.

Each gift box of fully licensed merchandise offers AMAZING value for money, often including a t – shirt or other item of apparel related to the theme of the box, with size specified to order; two main items, such as an action figure, plush or backpack; and several novelties such as a mug, notebook or keyring. One off gift purchases and discounted subscriptions available. Go ahead, lift the lid on the gift hunt this Christmas and put a smile on the face of your loved ones!
