Create with Hunkydory Crafts – Review

It took me a long while to finish my ‘Creative Room come Office’ but now it is completed I am able to shut myself away and create. I love all sorts of craft but one of my favourites, along with Cross Stitch is Card Making. With the help of Hunkydory Crafts, my skills have developed and their products allow you to get your creative ideas flowing.

Their latest product – Perfect Planet Desinger Deco – have designs which are absolutely gorgeous. The pack contains 24 A4 sheetsof foiled and die cut decoupage sheets, 24 A4 sheets of foiled and die cut decoupage base layer sheets, 24 A4 pieces of adorable Scorable Cardstock and an information sheet for more ideas.

So after having a rummage around in my craft room and gathering some ideas toghether these are a few of my creations.

Using a piece of the cardstock, I cut and score folded the base for my card. I just used some of the decoupage figures and shapes and created the image onto the card stock. Complimented the design off with two sentiments that were relevant. This I will be using for a New Baby Card.
This is another version of the Giraffe Family scene created using some Adorable Scorablecard I personally had available, with the decoupage backing picture and the decoupage shapes. It is lovely to create and see the family come to life with the 3d imagery you create. Again the sentiments used were provided in the pack.
This creation was done using the cardstock provided and scored and folded into a Tri fold card. The inner of the card has the reef at the bottom of the sea as the edging and by overlapping the decoupage base picture, makes it be a prominent feature on this card. There were corner pieces also provided which I did not use on this make but would look good on one where the edging design is not there. Again the Whale was decoupaged to give a 3d effect and the sentiments were relevant ones to the design.
This was one of my favourites cards made. I used a piece of pale blue Adorable Scorable from my personal card stock. A4 in size. Scored and folded in half and then one half scored and folded again. This created my easel. Using a half piece of cardstock in the pack I created my base layer and trimmed with an edging piece and a sentiment. I used the base photo and as shown below, decoupaged pieces on to make the Polar Bears more 3d and life like. This folds flat to place into an envelope to post or box up.
This shows the details of the design in a close up view.
This is my favourite and I loved making this one. It is a corner fold so can lay flat when sending. The base paper is from my own stock but all other pieces for this card came from what was in the pack provided.
A close up of how the decoupage brings the image to life.

Unless stated all elements contained in the above photos came from the Perfect PlanetDesigner Deco pack which is available to purchase here. https://www.hunkydorycrafts.co.uk/ppdec101-perfect-planet-designer-deco-large-collection.html
