Chocolate Sprinkle Stix by John Adams Toys – Review

I have been looking for alternative gifts, other than Easter Eggs.  As I have mentioned before I think a lot of cost is put into the packaging.  Less goes  into the amount of chocolate you get in an egg.   I was delighted to received the Chocolate Sprinkle Stix maker to review.

Additional things you will need

Created by John Adams Toys, The Chocolate Sprinkle Stix creator is easy to assemble and fairly easy to use.  It is a little more healthy than a full egg as you use breadsticks.   Adult supervision is needed and 2 AA batteries are required as well as a screwdriver.  Also required is some warm tap water, some chocolate, some breadsticks (cut in half) and the sprinkles of your choice.

This is the Chocolate Sprinkle Stix maker assembled.  My grandson made two for this blog.,  He made several more after I had taken photos.      I would recommend you use chocolate chips or buttons.  I tried white chocolate buttons but seemed to take forever to melt.   Do not use water out of a boiling kettle.    If you are in a hurry then I would suggest you melt some chocolate in a bowl over a pan and then pour into the chocolate holder.   This does take away the fun but it does take a while for the chocolate to melt.  Children can be impatient.

The sprinkle blast is fun.  It does advise to just out in one spoonful of sprinkles.  Believe me this is plenty.   I did try the bast without the stick holder in and they went everywhere. Lesson learnt not to do this again.

This was my Grandson’s finished attempt.  You could also try with Chocolate Spread

This is a fantastic alternative to an Easter Egg.

You can buy the Chocolate Sprinkle Six Maker at a cost of £14.57 via the following link
