Slow Cooker – Beef Stew
I always prepare my vegetables the night beofre and leave in the stock in the fridge adding my meat in the morning before switching on the slow cooker and heading off to work.
In my stew I put
Diced steak – I buy the steaks and dice myself less fat and definitely no grizzle
4 good sized carrots – sliced
2 medium partnips
2 medium onions quartered.
Beef stock or 2 beef oxo cubes with water
I turn my slow cooker on high and leave all day to cook.
Superb on cold wintery days
