8oz Self Raising Flour
Grated rind of an orange
Juice of half an Orange
For the drizzle
Juice of the second half of an orange
Preheat over to Gas mark 4/5
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg one at a time with a little of the flour and beat well.
Stir in the remaining flour and the rind and orange juice. Mix well
Spoon into muffin cases. I made 12 with this mixture.
Cook for about 15 minutes or until golden and pringy to the touch on the top.
Whilst cakes are in the oven make the drizzle by mixing the icing sugar and the orange juice.
Wehn you take cakes out of the oven immediately drizzle the orange drizzle on the top.
Leave cakes to cool.
Enjoy. These are also nice served warm with cream or ice cream.
