Nanny Angie Bakes …. Banana Muffins

There is nothing better, as a Nan, than having your Grandchildren enjoy baking and making with you.  I am going to share some recipes with you.   So here we go with Nanny Angie Bakes ……

Banana Muffins
This is a recipe that I modify for all sorts of muffins.
Heat oven to Gas Mark 5
This specific recipe I used bananas in.
The Recipe is
75g of sugar
4 tablespoons of oil (I use ground nut oil)
1 egg
125ml of milk
spice of choice (cinnamon, mixed spice  1/4 teaspoon)
200g of Self Raising Flour
2 ripe bananas – mashed
Put sugar, oil, egg and milk into a bowl.
Mix together
Stir in bananas flour and spices.
Divide between 12 muffin cases and cook for about 20 – 25 minutes.
You can also take out the bananas and spice and put in  chunks of chocolate, or cubed apple with cinnamon,  blueberries, raspberries or strawberries.    Anything you wish  just use the basic recipe.

Hope you enjoy this recipe and look out for more with Nanny Angie Bakes …..
