Hunkydory Watercolour Pencils – Review

Nowadays it is important to have something that you can relax with.  I love crafts.  I sew, cross stitch, knit  decopatch, make cards, colour and draw to name but a few of the things I find relaxing to so.  What I do find annoying is carrying my craft items around.  There is no easy way to fold up a craft hoop, or lessen your load.  However Hunkydory Crafts have some ideal items which are suitable for a roaming artist.  Especially if you like colouring or watercolours as these pencils will do both.

Prism Watercolour Cardstock

Firstly there is the handy sized A5 pad of Watercolour Card.  This is of an extremely high quality and is 280gsm.  The handy sized pad contain 30 sheets which are ideal for use with all water based colouring mediums especially the new Prism Watercolour range.

The beautiful watercolour splash cover adds the final Hunkydory touch!

Watercolour Brushes

Another product in Hunkydory Crafts new range are the Watercolour Brushes.  Coming in a trio pack of small, medium and large tipped heads, these brushes are ideal.   If you are out and about you fill your brushes with water and can pop into your Watercolour Pencil Roll.  No mess, no spillage and easily transportable.   When at home there is no need for messy pots of water, just fill  with water and you can wash out your bristles by just squeezing the reservoir.  Ergonimically easy to hold and extremely easy to refill.    The brushes were a pleasure to use and worked so well with the Watercolour Pencils.

Prism Watercolour Pencil Roll

I found the Prism Watercolour Pencil roll amazing.   What a way to keep all my pencils together and such an array of colours.  Using the Watercolour Brush which I reviewed above these turn into stunning watercolour paints and are so easy to blend and use.  Something magical does happen when the water meets with the pigments, as stated in Hunkydory Crafts description of this product.

There is a cacophony  of colours as shown in this video below.

and to put them away you simply roll and go.

How easy to pop in your bag or even handbag and draw/colour on the train home, store easily at home, take with you anywhere taking up very little space.    As I mentioned above, I even put my watercolour brushes into the roll and there is a zipped compartment ideal for a pencil, sharpener and rubber.

I was sent these items to review and they are superb to use.
